April 15: Opening Day – Dust off your camping gear and celebrate another summer with great friends new and old!
April 19: Easter weekend – Easter egg hunt (adult and kids)
April 26: Arbor Day – Tree planting around campground
May 3: Derby Day – Celebrate the Kentucky Derby with mint juleps, “horse” racing, horseshoes, and awards to the best-dressed. Events begin at 1 PM in the Pavilion.
May 10-11: Mother’s Day – Craft for kids
May 23-26: Memorial Day Weekend
- Friday: Pool opens!
- Saturday: Wagon ride, kids’ summer camp games
- Sunday: Wagon ride, ice cream social, bonfire
June 7: Seasonal Appreciation Picnic – Pancake breakfast provided, please bring a side dish to share
June 14-15: Father’s Day – Craft for kids
June 21: Summer Solstice Neon Glow Party – Glow-in-the-dark face painting, beach volleyball and games
July 3-7: Independence Day Weekend – Area fireworks, festivals & parades all weekend long
- Friday: Wagon rides
- Saturday: KLCG golf cart parade, ice cream social
July 26: Christmas in July – Santa visits KLCG! Campsite decorating, crafts, wagon rides, swim with Santa
August 2: 19th Annual Organ Donation Celebration Weekend – Silent auction & picnic to honor organ & tissue donors and their families. Free weekend camping for living organ donors and families of deceased organ donors; half-price camping for organ transplant recipients. All weekend proceeds benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin
August 23: Football Opening Day – Sport your favorite team colors and join for snacks and games to kick off football season
August 29 – September 1: Labor Day Weekend
- Saturday: Wagon rides, kids’ summer camp games
- Sunday: Wagon rides, board games & bonfire
Tuesday, September 2: Pool closes for the season
September 6: Full moon paddle – Paddle out on Kilby Lake to watch the Corn Moon rise and welcome in fall
September 13: Soup Cook-Off / Harvest Fest – Make a crockpot of favorite soup/chili to share. Awards (and bragging rights) for the best soup. Crafts for the kids.
September 26-28: Halloween Weekend – Pumpkin decorating, costume and site decorating contests
October 15: Campground closes – thanks for another great year!
